33 Week Bump-Date!

How far along? 33 weeks! Only 24 more days until I am considered FULL TERM! Oh my!!!
Maternity clothes? I'm all about comfort right now, so I am wearing all maternity. In fact, if I could get away with teaching my maternity yoga pants, I would. And don't think I'm not considering it. Cause I am. So don't judge :)
Sleep: Not so much. I'm very used to it so it is not even a complaint anymore!
Best moment this week: Going to the doctor this past Monday and seeing him on the ultrasound. It never gets old! I can't wait to have my "big" ultrasound at the hospital where they tell me how big he is and how big they project he'll be at birth!!
Miss Anything? Nothing!
Movement: Not really much movement, per say. He is totally out of room, so it's lots of rolling and moving of limbs! I see a foot or an elbow or knee come through my clothes at work sometimes...craziest thing I have ever seen but the coolest.
Food cravings: Salty and sweet. Satisfying those cravings with a pickle or a piece of chocolate (left over Halloween candy) here and there.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Eating after 8pm and not taking a Tums.
Gender: Baby boy
Labor Signs: Nothing! Needs to stay that way for FOUR more weeks!
Belly Button in or out? In! Still in!!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood: Ready to leave work. Seriously. I feel like I have SO MUCH TO DO around our house!!! I still need to pack my hospital bag!!
Looking forward to: My baby shower this weekend that my sister and aunt are throwing for me!!!

What does Alphamom have to say about week 33?

Your Baby:
  • Weighs over four pounds and is 17 inches long.
  • The skeleton is hardening, except for the skull, which will remain soft and flexible to allow it to fit through the birth canal, and also to grow and allow adequate space for your baby’s enormously brilliant brain.
  • Kicks and movements are practically visible from space now, and you may look down and realize that your belly is no longer round, but pointed, as a knee or elbow stretches out for a few seconds before disappearing beneath the surface again.
You:
  • Are big. Yes. And the whole world may suddenly seem like it’s got an opinion about when you’ll go into labor, and it TOTALLY DOESN’T CARE that you aren’t even full-term yet, it thinks you’ve dropped and popped and are going to give birth in like, two weeks. Tell it to shut the hell up with my blessings.
  • May be waddling more than walking, and misjudging your circumference as you bump into counters and knock things over on tables.
  • A lot of pregnant women start having strange dreams about those pronounced movements — legs and arms stretching out from under your clothes, or the perfect imprint of your baby’s face suddenly appearing next to your belly button. If these dreams creep you out, just remember that it’s your mind starting to wrap itself around the concept that there is, in fact, a actual baby in there rather than some hypothetical concept of a baby.

My week 33 thoughts:
I have some things set aside to put in my hospital bag, but I still need to run to Target and grab some travel sized shampoo, conditioner, etc. I also need to wash baby boy's clothes. I have his coming home outfit all ready to go, but that's about it! Hubs and I will be going to Babies R Us next weekend to go get my breast pump and last minute things that we will need before his arrival. I think I am just ready to not be pregnant anymore...don't get me wrong, I love being pregnant, but I am just anxious for his birthday and getting to hold him. Plus...I really miss my hips feeling normal!

Also, because I want to win this bag so very much.....and you probably will too....

Go over to About Fais...you should enter to win her Kate Spade giveaway!!!! The bag is amazing and I think it would make an excellent accessory for me and the baby :) Actually...don't go enter. I want to win!!! LOL!

I vote for wearing the yoga pants to work. As long as you're wearing semi cute shoes and a shirt, no one will even notice! ;)
