Thoughts into Words

Source: goo.gl via Damooer on Pinterest

Sometimes I just have so many thoughts rattling around my mind, I don't know what to do with them.

Some things aren't just ready for the blog world, so you have to write them down so you don't forget.

I find myself waking up in the middle of the night to write things down.

I get so ANGRY at myself when I think of something important and FAIL to write it down. I forget it and it's gone. Vanished. Forever.

I just bought a journal to write down all these thoughts...they may not be important now, but maybe they will be one day?

Do you keep track of your thoughts?

I do not currently keep track of my thoughts, but there are often times when I wish I had!

i used to keep one and I am planning on opening it back up... it eases my mind so much!
I'm with you-- sometimes there are just sooo many thoughts running through my head I don't know what to do with them either. It is amazing what writing them down can do :)

I carry mini Vera Bradley notebooks around to jot down ideas whenever they strike me...it can be anything from something I need to buy at the grocery store to an idea for a blog post to a book someone suggested I read. I think it's a great way to keep track of things!

Love journals! I haven't kept one in a few years, but I think I need to get back with it. Sometimes, it's just therapeutic to write it all out :)

I think my blog is as close as I'll get to a journal...

I've had journals in the past, but I would still never find time to write things down. I use my iphone a lot now for stuff like this. Need to remember the couch measurements in case I run across a good deal on slipcovers? In my iphone notes. Need to remember how many darn windows I need to buy curtains for, and their measurements? In the iphone notes. Grocery lists, blog ideas, chore lists... all in my iphone notes. It's always right there!

I just recently started journaling! I love it to write down ideas and just random things that pop up in my head

I have kept several journals or diaries since I was in elementary school! It is hilarious to go back and read what my 10 year old self thought was important! Ha!

I highly recommend journals to people, it will be so sweet when your a senior to go back and read about your first years married! <3

I used to do this all the time, but I haven't in awhile. I have a feeling my schedule is going to start getting crazy enough that I'll need to again. And I'm excited about it!

I totally had the perfect name for something the other day, and I can't for the life of me remember it, and it makes me sad...

I have a bazillion journals for this very reason, yet I seem to lose them left and right. However, I think it's a great idea. I always think it's better to write things out, get them out, and let them really sink it. It's at least easy for me to deal with my thoughts that way. And super cute journal girl.

I have always failed at keeping a journal. I love the idea of them al ost as much as I love the feel of a fresh smelling journal in my hands, but it never works out. Therefore I keep blog thoughts in notes on my phone. Hopefully you'll be better at journaling than me!

I'm with Heather.. I mainly just use my blog for my source of thoughts. But, I do have TONS of thoughts running around in my head at all times, and I probably should use a journal for all of them. Like you, I get frustrated when I "forget" about something.. I should've written it down!

I keep a notebook with me all the time, so I write down random thoughts and ideas!

I was just thinking of how I need to start carrying a notebook and pen around with me to jot things down! I can be so scatter brained that I think it will be excellent for me.

I don't! :(
But I do carry around a thought/idea notebook! I write down anything that I want to remember for later! My 'journaling' is my blog! :)

I started a journal on March 12, 1992, and I kept it up right up until about November of last year. I still write things in a blank book occasionally, but I've pretty much given up on daily journaling. I pretty much get it all out of my system between Twitter and my blog now. (Especially the book blog, since many of my private thoughts are book-related anyway. I'm a book nerd like that.)

I keep a notebook with me...but typically end up simply jotting things down phone #s for people I need to call back. I keep toying with an idea to use a "Blogger Notebook". But haven't found one that works for me. I also haven't figured out a DIY notebook that will really work for me. Somehow I think I tend to only be able to really write down ideas about blogging when I'm blogging.
