Makeup Brush Organization

I have mine in a metal cup/holder, and that rests inside of a small wicker basket that I keep all of my other makeup things in (moisturizer, bronzer, eyeshadows, foundation, etc). It works out well to keep my bathroom counter relatively clutter free which works for me since my counter isn't THAT big.

I ended up making my own "magnetic makeup board" that I saw on pinterest and put them in a square cup that I attached to there. I like the ideas of the glass marbles in there to keep them upright and separate! You can see my (mostly complete, the brushes weren't on there yet in the pic) in my blog! A quick link is under the "crafty projects" page!

ps - Love your blog!

I want to get new make-up brushes first (thanks for the ELF recommendation!) and then I'll figure out a cute way to store them (love this idea, too!). Looks great!

I store mine the same way, thanks Target! I got a vase, but it's a little longer and shorter.. does that make sense? And I poured red pebbles in :)

This is super cute! I really should do something with my brushes. They, too, are just lying on the counter.

I have something similar to yours. Love it! It makes them so handy and cute at the same time!

And thanks for recommending Elf! I've become a brush fanatic and can't bring myself to spending the Sephora prices yet.

I love the Sephora inspired brush holders. Well, I love the way they look but I found that after a while the filler started to make scratches in my brush handles - not cool!

But, it loos so pretty!

I wish someone would make a much smoother and rounder vase filler. I've tried to figure out where Sephora buys there's!

I keep mine in a mason jar! I also have a jar for cotton pads, and mini 1 inch candle holders for bobby pins and mini hair clips. I NEED to be organized! :)

& this is why I need a bathroom that's Pinterest worthy so I can display all my products in sweet ways.... Oh, how I am so ordinary.

This is funny because I JUST did the same thing this past week. Same elf brushes, same jar from target, and same beads from target! I love it and makes mornings so much easier! The brushes look so nice now that I don't even want to use them to mess them up!

Looks AWESOME! Yay for makeup brush organization! Um, yeah, that wouldn't be big enough for my makeup brushes. I have mine stored in old coffee cups under the sink. Seems to work fine for me and they're hidden anyway. lol.

I have my makeup brushes organized the same way! I found the idea on Pinterest. It's so cute and it keeps the brushes from getting my makeup bag all dirty.

You'll love having your brushes stored like this. I use a julep cup and feel like it's changed my getting ready routine for the better.

IT looks great. I got a small pot of white violets in college that I killed so I cleaned out the pot and use it for my makeup brushes. At least once a week it brings a smile to my face thinking of my friend.
